gabe on kit

chris with the weird eye look.
it rained.
thanx to everyone who braved the elements and showed up and had fun…
yesterday we performed for cara charities “castaways of g-forces island sponsorship event” at the long beach grand prix after party boat cruise. once again, i forgot my camera and left it in the van. i took a few photos as we loaded the equipment into the van at the end of the night.
the load in and set up to this performance was a tuff one. we had to park a mile away, cart our equipment up and down the city streets of long beach, and carry our equipment up and down several staircases. not fun, but we made it work. alas, the life of a working musician…
first of all, Happy Easter and Passover to everyone!
yesterday, we performed for the Cameo Professional Auxiliary of Long Beach, “A Walk on the Wild Side”, at the Long Beach Convention Center. from what i understand, it is an annual fashion show/silent auction that raises money for the Long Beach Unified School District. there were about 1200 people in attendance. we played in the lobby as people arrived, and created a little mood music before the fashion show. below are some random photos of the event:
we often end up amongst the wild animals, playing our wild music.
lots of stuff up for auction.
gabe on kit.
i really get into it when i play.
