they hung out and danced with the Mariachis that showed up and played before we performed.

today we performed on The Big Red Bus in Long Beach, CA.
this was the last time The Big Red bus was scheduled to roll around Long Beach until further notice. it was the last day of the 12 week trial period, and now it is time for the City of Long Beach to review the particulars and see if they want to continue with this service to the city. in my opinion, the City of Long Beach would be foolish not to continue such a program. the response has been overwhelming, and the feedback has been positive. i trust we will roll again sometime next month. i will keep you posted.

All is good in Steel Parade land. This is the time of the year that we book most of our shows for the coming year. We get inquiries from phone calls, emails, referrals, etc. If you have an event that we may be of service for, please give us a call at (562)989-1060.
As you may have noticed, we do not list private events in our Calendar section. The events that are listed in the Calendar section are events that are open to the general public. These events are Park Concerts, City Concerts, Clubs and Restaurants, etc. If there is a venue or place you think would be fun for us to perform, please let us know. We’d luv to hear your suggestions.
For the moment, we will continue to book shows, rehearse new tunes, and enjoy a bit of a break during our “slower month”. By the end of March we are in “full swing”.
